Earthquake & Natural Disaster Awareness
Natural disasters, specifically earth quakes are a very real threat to our Western coastline. Our programs are designed for the common individual or family to successfully organize and prepare them in the event of a natural disaster. These programs cover practical fundamentals, shared unique experiences and applied basic common sense into practice.
Fundamentals from food preparation, communication (electronic and non-electronic), shelter allocation and field preparation, defensive requirements, clothing and essential supplies, travel logistics to understanding emergency government routes or designated setup points are just a few key topics we cover in addition to putting our course attendants into some challenging tasks and scenarios that will exercise their critical thinking skills and overall preparedness.

Civil Unrest & Manmade Disaster Awareness
Mass riots, crime and violence, and outbreaks of civil unrest are often flashpoints of occurrence. These situations can be monitored and hopefully diffused by local officials, but is rarely predicted when it’s actually going to spark and when it does, social control breaks down and it happens very quickly. These situations are not unrealistic events that individuals and families might unfortunately face.
Whether it’s a limited outbreak in some urban location or mass manmade cataclysm, effective preparations are always categorized into three key areas (a) understanding the situation (b) preparation and situational acceptance; and (c) proactive action planning. Our programs are specifically designed for the common individual or family to successfully organize and prepare them in the event of unfortunate circumstances. These programs cover practical fundamentals, unique knowledge and experience, and applied basic common sense into practice.

Foreign Volunteers & Travelers Awareness
If you are traveling to a foreign country, backpacking to various countries, volunteering in a proven unsettled region of the world, our program is designed to provide you with the knowledge and shared practices from instructors who have firsthand experience in unsettled or at times hostile regions of the world.
This program covers the basics in travel awareness, cultural familiarities and gives you an in-depth insight on anti-kidnapping techniques and the dangers of traveling into foreign countries. Our program will also cover areas such as equipment essentials, using commonly available supplies to your benefit, protecting your identity, dangers of currency exchanges, and social media threats during your travels; choosing the right local mobile phone, communication practices with loved ones in your home country; and preparing your physical, dietary and mental capabilities for your upcoming environment.
